Æblenissen / Apple Nisse

Æblenissen spiser nu ikke ret mange æbler, men han ved ellers alt om æbler, og bruger al sin tid på at hjælpe folk, der er løbet sur i deres æbler. Men det er ikke altid så let, for problemet er ikke altid, at der er noget galt med æblerne. Det er ofte dem, der bruger dem, der er noget galt med, og det er ikke så let at reparere. 

Men han er så dygtig, at han var nødt til at flytte til Amerika, for der er der åbenbart rigtig mange nisser, som har brug for forklaringer. 

Det har deres Overnisse også, men det gør ikke så meget, for det ved han ikke, så han går rundt og er så glad, så glad, for han tror, at han er den klogeste og dygtigste i hele verden. Nissemor siger, at han er så overbevist om sin overlegenhed, at han nok har skiftet alt sit undertøj ud med overtøj. 

Nisserne på Blågård har håbet i mange år, at Æblenissen snart er færdig med at forklare alt muligt til amerikanske nisser, men det har vist lange udsigter, for der er åbenbart mange.

Men heldigvis kommer han på besøg, og så har han sin lille nissedreng og nissekone med. 

Apple Nisse doesn’t eat very many apples, but he knows so many other ways to use them, and he persistently tries to explain that to all the other nisser – and if they have a problem with their apples, he’s always ready at his apple crate to help. He always figures out, what’s wrong, if somebody’s apple doesn’t work – but usually, the problem is not the apple, it’s the nisse using it, and that’s much harder to fix.

But he is very good at explaining and educating, and that’s why he had to travel to the other side of the world, because apparently, there’s a lot of nisser over there needing explanations.

Even their Head Nisse does, but fortunately, he doesn’t know that, so he’s so happy, so happy, because he thinks he’s the smartest and most talented nisse in the whole world. NIsse Mom says that he’s so overly self confident that he probably replaced all his underwear with overwear.

All the nisser here keep hoping, that Apple Nisse will soon be done explaining and educating nisser over there, so he can come home, but it seems that there’s an awful lot of nisser over there to get through, so maybe it will take some time, until he’s done.

But fortunately, sometimes he comes home for a visit, and then he brings his little nisse boy and his nisse wife.
